Review: During the day and early evening The Lodge is primarily a sports bar, but at night, it becomes a good party spot and dance spot that is usually crazy packed. I can not think of one time I went there and it wasn’t packed. The Lodge has a nice size dance floor, tables to sit at, and an outdoor area now mainly reserved for smokers. The DJ plays a good mix of any music that will get you to dance. There is always some sort of theme or special going on all night. All and all a good spot, all thou parks kinda sucks. I forgot about some parts of the nightlife culture. One of the biggest parts is the Preparty, drinking at clubs is sometimes not cheap. So Wristband Bandits is starting a new group of post on preparty drinks, some classics, some by other people, and some originals. I hope you enjoy, drink up.

Review: Bronx Bar is nestled in the bar filled crowded Rice Village Area, next to Rice University. This spot has a nice outdoor area for those cool Houston evenings and the inside has an open area with one main bar and a small bar in the back. There are not a lot of tables, but stools on the outline of the bar. My only gripe about Bronx Bar is that it is small. It serves as a good jump off spot or chill spot.

Even thou VIMBY focuses on video, they offer a wide variety other media like photo and events section. In the nightlife section, there are video and photo profiles on clubs, bars, and promoters, and a list of events in the city you happen to be looking in.

this is the spot you go to for all your friends to have balls to the wall fun. I think its very DJ depandant, but it is a great club and party spot. I usually hate 18+ and up clubs. I don’t hate 18 year old women, I hate male between the ages of 18 to 21. They are fucking annoying. And if you are reading this and fall into this category I’m sorry, I strongly dislike you at clubs. But for an 18+ club, its pretty lagit.

it’s more of resturant than bar and the food here is great and kind of pricey, the place is also a micro bewery, so you have a wide selection of house beers and the usual selection. the bar area is huge, great service. this is a great jump off spot, chill spot, date spot, and family spot

I love New York City, it is one fo the best places in the world. But every time I go there, I find a hard time finding places to eat, bars to visit, and clubs to chill at, not for the lack of these places, but because there are a crazy amount of these places. But I found a site that makes it easy to find a plce to go to in NYC, TasteSpace. I love this site. You can search place places by nieghborhood, price, type of place and crowd. The profile of the places has user reviews, photos, video, address, etc. I love this site. So easy to use and a wealth of information it gives you. I using this the next time I go to NYC, which should be in Novermber.
